RSM: Lutong Bahay

RSM is inspired by the traditions in the Philippines called "Lutong Bahay" (cooked dishes from every home in Philippines). RSM is located at Cavite E. Aguinaldo Highway, Maharlika East, Tagaytay City.

The signange of the restaurant.

Front view. It looks like an ordinary restaurant but when you get inside.. :)

A cozy & relaxing place to eat with your family & friends.

They have also a bar inside.

This is another kind of service they offer. It is called "turo-turo" in filipino because of the cooked dishes lined up for viewing. You just have to point which one you would like to order. (a Filipino tradition also)

Beside the "turo-turo" area is the gift shops. There are lots of options to buy their for your "pasalubong". They have shirts, accessories, delicacy food, etc..

Sto. Nino

Bound to the available seat. You can see on top of the fountain a Mama Mary figurine.

Another saint displayed. (saints were displayed because of catholic belief)

So this is the outside area of the restaurant.

Available seats for this area.

The view outside when you're inside the restaurant.(complicated english ko! haha!)

Eating while looking to this view? Isn't it amazing?!

The Taal Volcano. A very romantic close to nature place to visit with your friends & family.

Yummy food.

Yes, this is a place where you can enjoy so much more, the food, the conversation with your loved ones & the great natural beauty of nature that God created for us to witness.

We went here to take our lunch. Thanks to my cousins wife who brought us here. The place is favourable and you can decide which area would you like to eat. If you're in a hurry you can eat to the "turo-turo" area. If you want to spend time and relax you may dine-in to their cozy indoor area. But if you want to have a great view while eating with your loved ones you can go to the outside area. The food is delicious also.

Caleruega Church: Romantic Spirit!

The beautiful church "CALERUEGA"

Caleruega Church is also known as the Transfiguration Chapel located at Batulao, NasugbuBatangas. This rustic church is standing perfectly in the midst of luscious greenery and colorful flowers abounding the place. Located at the highest point of Caleruega, the view and landscape of the church is the most photographed. Couples and ordinary sightseers alike will enjoy the beauty of the church. (Source: WikiPilipinas)

I want to thank my relatives who invited us to get here for the first time. It was a simple church with a perfect romantic ambiance & view. I haven't got the chance to visit some of their facilities but i saw that there is a retreat house and found out on their facebook page that it was a "Retreat Center administered by Fathers and Brothers of the Dominican Province of the Philippines".

On our way to Caleruega Church..

Downstairs.. before entrance..

"Cross Clouds"

The priests having a mass.

The front view of the church and after the mass.

If you're hungry there are numerous store outside the site.

There are lots of vendors who sell fresh fruits. Better than junk foods.
(pero kasi masarap chichirya e! haha)

Reminders:
The church is small inside.
Check their schedule of masses.
Parking lot is easier if you arrived earlier.
If you want to attend the mass make sure you arrived earlier because of the numerous visitors.
If you arrived late and you cannot go inside the church its okay because they have speakers outside but there are limited seats outside.
You may bring fan & towels for your comfort. (kinda hot when we went there)
Don't forget also your sunglasses. (get ready for a perfect sunshine)

Mt. Maculot : Ang pinanggalingan ng mga kulot. Charot.

MT. MACULOT/ROCKIES Escapade.

So this is my first "serious" climb. Super haggard, super tired but its worth the climb. So lemme gave you some information I researched in google. Mount Macolod (also called Mount Makulot or Mount Maculot) is a mountain located in the town of Cuenca in Batangas Province, in the Philippines. This mountain is popular among mountain climbers and campers; it is the major tourist attraction of the municipality. The mountain is about 947 m (3,107 ft) tall and is also located adjacent to Taal Lake. Mount Makulot and its 700-metre (2,300 ft) high volcanic rock wall called The Rockies, is said to be part of Taal Caldera's crater rim.

So! Let's get it on. My cousin invite me to join with his husband and friends mountain climbing trip, just so you know they are called B.U.T.O. Team which means Brods-Ultimate-Travel-Outdoors. :)

Lite BREAKFAST so we have energy on trekking.

Tricycle going to Registration area and Mountaineers Stopover & Store.

I got the chance to see the natural beauty of nature, I got the chance to meet and hang out with the B.U.T.O. Team, I got the chance to overcome trekking which tires me very very much! Haha! I got the chance to overcome the trail of the Mt. Maculot escapade! Thank you Lord for this wonderful chance you gave us, for giving us the opportunity to see and conquering and guiding us for this adventure we will never forget.
